Yes, Ayutthaya is an easy day trip from Bangkok. There are bicycles for rent in front of the station or you can hire a Tuk Tuk for a tour.

You have 2 options :

1) Charter a car 1500 baht to go visit White Buddha, and whatever place you want to go. There will be a picture of the places shown.

2) Take a van (70 baht per person) to the entrance of the sunflower field. At the entrance, you visit the “Banana & Egg” cafe to eat or you can buy food to feed some animals there. Otherwise, you can take the tram car to visit the sunflower field and take photos. Then , the tram car will take you back to the entrance where you can have lunch at the cafe. Then , you will take a van (waiting outside the cafe) to go to another cafe which also has feeding for some animals and an uninspiring garden. Then, you take the van back to Pasak Jalosid dam station and you can visit the Pasak museum & a fish aquarium nearby. Both are free admission.

This trip runs from around November to January. Tickets go on sale one month in advance. We will promote this on our social media as soon as tickets become available.
