Thankyou so much for the information unfortunately couldn’t obtain tickets however will drive to the station and stay at a local hotel to embrace the event.as an ex B R fireman on the west coast main line I can appreciate such happenings

You are welcome to have my ticket. Though I am not sure if you son is less than 100 cms to get a free ride. I will be there form 7:00 a.m. to take photos. I don’t need to ride the train. I have done it many times.

I think you are looking in the wrong place. You don’t choose destinations. On the first page scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the picture with the steam locomotive.
