Train Finder: Reviews of Trains on the Eastern Line

The Eastern Line passes through six provinces which includes the branch lines. These are the provinces of Chachoengsao, Nakhon Nayok, Saraburi, Prachinburi, Sa Kaeo, and Chonburi. However, it only runs through or near four provincial cities. These names are in bold. You can find all the timetables for these trains on the Eastern Line Train Timetables page.

The main line goes to the Thai-Cambodian border at Ban Klong Luk Border Station. At Chachoengsao Junction, there is a branch line that goes down through Chonburi Province, past Si Racha and Pattaya, and terminates at Chuk Samet Station which is close to some beaches. All of these trains depart from Bangkok Station (Hua Lamphong).

All trains on the Eastern Line out of Bangkok stop at Chachongsao Junction. Some trains continue on the main line to Aranyaprathet on the border with Cambodia. Other trains take the branch line down to Chonburi and Pattaya. The following five pairs of trains are used by commuters going between Bangkok and Chachoengsao.
