How to go from Bangkok to Phetchaburi by Train

Phetchaburi is a province in Thailand that is known for its natural beauty, beaches, mountains, and historical sites. It is located not too far from Bangkok, making it a popular tourist destination for both Thais and foreigners. The province is home to a number of historical parks, ancient temples, caves, and beaches. It also has a popular resort town, Cha-Am.

If you are catching the train from Bangkok to Phetchaburi, there are three terminal stations where you can start your journey. The quickest and most comfortable train is Special Express No. 43 which is a diesel railcar that does the run during the day in two hours and 15 minutes. This goes from Krung Thep Aphiwat Station (KTW). This train has air-conditioning and reclining seats. To book up until 30 days in advance, you should put Hua Hin as your destination. If you don’t mind slow trains with open windows and fans, then catch either Ordinary No. 255 from Thon Buri Station or Ordinary No. 261 from Bangkok (Hua Lamphong) Station. Tickets for these trains can only be bought at the station up to an hour before departure.
