No. 26: Nong Khai to Bangkok

The No. 26 Special Express train from Nong Khai to Bangkok goes via the Bua Yai branch line (Kaeng Khoi Junction to Bua Yai Junction). Total distance is 209 kilometres and the journey takes nine hours and 10 minutes. This train has the new CNR 1st Class and 2nd Class sleeping carriages. Dining car services have now resumed on this train. Tickets in 1st Class are 1,357 baht for the upper berth, 1,557 baht for the lower berth, and 2,357 to book the cabin if you are travelling alone. In 2nd Class, tickets are 898 for the upper berth and 998 for the lower berth. Please note, tickets for all CNR sleeper trains can now be bought up to 90 days in advance. The reverse journey is made by No. 25 Special Express train.
