Explore Thailand onboard the Kiha-183 Train

The State Railway of Thailand recently refurbished some KiHa-183 trains that had been donated to them by the Hokkaido Railway Company in Japan. With their distinctive elevated cab and a slanted nose, they are proving to be popular as special excursion trains in Thailand. The following are dates and links for more information for upcoming special excursions onboard this train.

JANUARY 2024

  • 6th, 7th, 13th, and 14th January 2024. Day trip to isit the sunflower fields. Take a floating train. Watch the sunset from the viaduct over Pasak Jolasit Dam. Price is 1,499 baht per person.
