Tickets for the next Steam Train trip go on sale on 28 June 2023

The State Railway of Thailand has announced that tickets for the next steam train excursion on 28th July, will be available for purchase starting from Wednesday 28th June. You can buy them online at D-Ticket or at your local railway station from 8:30 a.m.

The train will depart from Hua Lamphong at 8:10 a.m. and arrive in Ayutthaya at 10:20 a.m. Passengers will have approximately six hours to explore the ancient city. The return journey will commence at 4:40 p.m., with the train arriving back in Bangkok at 6:55 p.m.

Ticket options include 299 Baht for 3rd Class, which offers open windows and fans, and 799 Baht for 2nd Class, featuring air-conditioning and reclining seats. For more information, you can call 1690.
