16 Extra Trains for the Songkran Holiday on the Northern and Northeastern Lines

The State Railway of Thailand is adding 16 special trains to its existing routes to accommodate an expected surge in travellers during Songkran. Passengers will be able to book tickets for these special trains from 22nd March.

OUTBOUND TRAINS:

10th April 2024
🚂 Special Express No. 5: Bangkok (Krung Thep Aphiwat) to Chiang Mai. Depart at 7:45pm and arrive at 8:10am

11th April 2024
🚂 Special No. 977: Bangkok (Krung Thep Aphiwat) to Ubon Ratchathani. Depart at 10:05pm and arrive at 8:10am.
🚂 Special No. 967: Bangkok (Krung Thep Aphiwat) to Udon Thani. Depart at 9:45pm and arrive at 7:40am.

12th April 2024
🚂 Special No. 955: Bangkok (Krung Thep Aphiwat) to Sila At. Depart at 10:50pm and arrive at 7:00am.
