Don’t Miss Out! KIHA-183 Tourist Train Trips Open for Booking for March 2024

The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) is excited to announce its special tourist train trips for March and April 2024. Passengers will get to experience the KIHA 183 train, under the concepts of Stargazing Route in March and City of Water in April. Tickets for March 2024 are on sale now.

Eight Trips, Four Routes

There will be a total of eight trips on four different routes, catering to different interests such as relaxation, spirituality, nature, and adventure. Trips will be offered on both a day-trip and overnight basis, every Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are now on sale, with a limited number of 202 seats per trip.

MARCH 2024 TRIPS

  • TRIP ONE: 9-10 March – Two-day trip. “Explore the Land of Ancient Wonders, Stars on Earth” in Nakhon Ratchasima Province. Visit the Khorat Geopark, participate in the “Kin Khao Kham” festival, and enjoy a “Mini Light and Sound” show. Price: 3,999 baht per person.
  • TRIP TWO: 16-17 March – Two-day trip. “Explore the City of Art, Land of Faith, Shining Stars” in Ratchaburi Province. Visit the “Factory in the Forest” for a sustainable experience, and see outdoor sculptures illuminated by millions of lights by Lighting Designer at Sattha Uthaiyan Thai. Price: 3,999 baht per person.
  • TRIPS THREE: 23-24 March – Two-day trip. “Follow the Star of Love in Kanchanaburi Province. Dress up in the “Malaya Nam Thai” style, visit World War II landmarks, watch an outdoor movie screening of “Khu Kam” by the Death Railway Bridge, and enjoy live music in the garden. Price: 3,999 baht per person.
  • TRIP FOUR: 30 and 31 March – One-day trip. “Mue Telu: Destiny of the Stars” in Chachoengsao Province. Join a spiritual journey with famous fortune teller “Ajarn Khada Chinabanchorn” to learn how to get rich with the three incarnations of Ganesha, and have your fortune read throughout the trip. Price: 1,499 baht per person.

APRIL 2024 TRIPS

TRIP ONE: 20-21 April – Two-day trip. “Take a 4WD to the Headwaters Forest in Phanom Thung” in Phetchaburi Province. Visit Thailand’s 3rd World Heritage Forest, and experience the morning mist at Khao Phanom Thung, Kaeng Krachan National Park. Price: 3,999 baht per person.

TRIP TWO: 27 and 28 April – One-day trip. “Mue Telu: Destiny of the Water” in Chachoengsao Province. Embark on a spiritual journey to enhance your fortune, attract wealth, increase luck, and boost your charisma based on the Dragon Line Theory with “Ajarn Wiroj Tangwanij”. Price: 1,499 baht per person.

Souvenirs and Sustainable Tourism

All participants of these special trips will receive a limited edition tourism calendar for 2024. The SRT is committed to promoting sustainable tourism in Thailand, in line with the policy of SRT Governor Nirut Maneephan. The SRT aims to be a part of promoting domestic tourism by collaborating with tourism partners to develop new railway travel routes and distribute income to local communities, creating sustainability for the country’s grassroots economy.
