Review of Ordinary No.257 train from Thonburi to Nam Tok along the infamous Death Railway. The train left at 7:45am. We got off at Tam Krasae Station which is just after the wooden trestle bridge. It arrived here at 11:51am. Ticket price was 100 Baht. You can have lunch here and walk on the tracks across the bridge. The train comes back at 1:35pm.

Hi we are intending to spend some time in River Kwai, and Tham Krasae Station. However the last train stopping at Nong Plabuk Junction is at 6.35pm and there is no other train back to Bangkok. May I ask if there are any other ways for us to return to Bangkok?
You would have to catch a bus back from Kanchanaburi instead if you need to go back the same day.
