Passenger Statistics for Trains during the Long Weekend
During the long weekend, 28th-31st July 2022, 3,084,458 passengers rode on the rail network across Thailand.
- BTS: 1,750,561 passengers
- MRT: 873,031 passengers
- Railway: 248,674 passengers
- Airport Rail Link: 160,813 passengers
- Red Line: 51,379 passengers
For the State Railway of Thailand (SRT), the daily passenger statistics for this long weekend were as follows:
- 28th July 2022: 67,453 passengers
- 29th July 2022: 54,001 passengers
- 30th July 2022: 58,448 passengers
- 31st July 2022: 68,772 passengers
The average daily passenger statistic for 2022 so far is 49,599 which sounds a lot. But in 2019, the year before the Covid-19 pandemic, there were an average of 85,443 passengers per day.
