Special 2nd Class Carriage with Wheelchair Lift and Accessible Toilets on Trang Route in April

This month, SRT has reintroduced the ASC 30 (บชท.ป.30) carriage, which is a second-class air-conditioned carriage with only 30 seats. This unique carriage features wheelchair lifts on both sides and an accessible toilet. It also offers additional space for wheelchairs and three rows of seats with double the usual legroom.

Currently, this special carriage is only available on Express No. 83/84 to Trang in Southern Thailand. The service will end on April 30th. The cost for this carriage is 660 baht, which is not significantly cheaper than the sleeper carriage (780 baht for the upper berth and 870 baht for the lower berth). The second-class carriage with fans is priced at 460 baht.
